
| Andrea Morganstein received her degree in counseling from the State University of New York at Albany in 1992. With over 7 years of professional experience in a broad range of life's issues, she specializes in crisis assessment, depression/anxiety, emotional/behavioral challenges, social skills and peer issues, coping with chronic illness, executive functioning (e.g. organization, time management), attention issues, and parent coaching. Andrea works with individuals, families, and groups of all ages using a combination of Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, as well as "Social Thinking" concepts. With children and teens, she uses play, art, games, and even computers to create a therapeutic experience that makes the younger client feel comfortable. |
